Le Vestiaire de Jeanne was born in February 2007, when I started to create clothes for my little sister Jeanne.

She was then 8 years old and I was 20.

At the time, it was difficult to find minimalist and timeless clothes, in neutral colors, for children.

So I created a few simple and timeless clothes for her, which my mother and I couldn’t find in stores.

Since then, le Vestiaire de Jeanne has grown.

We have created an adult line for men and women, home linen as well as accessories.

Our wish now is to equip the whole family with a common wardrobe (“vestiaire” in French), accessories and household linen.

In 2007, we moved to a new location in the heart of Nîmes, a small town in the South of France where we live.

In this place, we have brought together our offices, our creation and production workshop as well as our first store in which we present our collections and the the work of other designers carefully selected according to the seasons and our encounters.

The idea is to promote a SLOW way of life (sustainable and reasoned) and consumption by highlighting artisanal know-how, local and/or ethical manufacturing and to present beautiful, useful and well-made items for everyday life.

Today, le VDJ is available in a few stores around the world in addition to our own store and website.
